- The Paul Edward Sluby Sr. African American Scholarship

Many genealogically-related organizations sponsor students to Gen-Fed. Historically, this has included staff or sponsorships from The National Archives, Library of Congress, FamilySearch, Ancestry ProGenealogists, the Daughters of the American Revolution Library, local libraries and archives, and specialty organizations with federal roots (such as Native American). Accepting students from organization sponsorships includes the following rules.
- The organization will pay the full cost of the tutition, there is no discount.
- Gen-Fed staff do not make travel or hotel reservations for sponsored students, that is up to the students and/or organization to manage.
- An organization who sponsors a student may have a reserved seat and skip the registration drawing. Organizations are limited to sponsoring no more than three (3) students.
- While we welcome repeat attendees, a five-year embargo period must pass before an alumnae may return in order to allow others a chance to participate. This also applies to sponsored students.
- To qualify your organization and student in order to reserve a seat, contact the Director at info@gen-fed.org.
